Indi Molecular and Caltech Collaborators Publish Data on Structural Modulation of a Neurodegenerative Disease Target (SOD1) with Targeted Peptides

CULVER CITY, CA – April 23, 2018 – Indi Molecular and Caltech today announced a paper published in Angewandte Chemie International Edition on a targeted PCC that modulates the folding of SOD1, a protein implicated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.  The company’s PCC platform was used to generate peptides that both stabilize the native conformation of SOD1 as well as accelerate its folding.  The reported strategy represents a major advance in the study of protein folding and design of new classes of therapeutics.
